Rhodes stole our hearts. And that’s not surprising. Because there is so much to experience. The recommendations? The beach of Kalithea, Afandou, Antony Quinn, Tsambika Beach and Agathi Beach. Have fun with activities such as kiting, windsurfing and parasailing. Or visit the water park of Faliraki. It is gigantic and has 15 slides and 5 swimming pools. Ideal for large and small water rats. Prefer to stay on land? Then horseback riding, golfing or driving a 4×4 might be something for you.

The place to be: the countless hip beach bars and trendy restaurants, sometimes even partially carved into the rocks. Enjoy the catch of the day with your feet in the sand. Blissful, isn’t it? Or venture inland along the olive oil, honey or wine tasting routes. Let your taste buds enjoy all the goodies the island has to offer.

Culture at its best

The island breathes history. The medieval capital of Rhodes is a must-see with its impressive knight’s castle and various ports. Soak up the atmosphere of the cozy bars, restaurants and souvenir shops in the old town. Or go shopping in the new section. Also immerse yourself in picturesque Lindos with its white houses and car-free streets. Strolling around and getting lost in the small streets. And afterwards good food in one of the restaurants on the roofs of the houses. The icing on the cake? The postcard-worthy view of the Lindos Acropolis. Wow!
